First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests whether a specially trained physical therapist can accurately diagnose jaw disorders, potentially allowing patients to get faster care without always seeing a surgeon first. About 70 adults with jaw pain will be evaluated by both a physical therapist and a surgeon to compare their diagnoses. The goal is to improve access to care and reduce long wait times for treatment.
