Summary
This study monitored the safety and effectiveness of Jardiance (empagliflozin) in Korean patients with chronic kidney disease during routine medical care. Researchers tracked side effects and changes in kidney health markers over 24 weeks in 299 patients who were starting the medication for the first time. The goal was to understand how the drug performs in real-world clinical practice rather than in controlled trial settings.
