New implant aims to stop sleep apnea episodes in their tracks

Summary

This study tests a new device called the remedē Dual Channel System for people with severe sleep apnea. The device is implanted in the body and works during sleep to prevent breathing interruptions. The study will check if the device is safe and if it improves breathing during sleep. About 40 adults with severe sleep apnea will take part.
