Summary

This study tested a new drug called J2H-1702 in 87 adults with non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), a type of fatty liver disease. The goal was to see if the drug is safe and whether it can reduce liver fat and scarring over 12 weeks compared to a placebo. Participants had to have a certain amount of liver fat and stiffness to join. The results will help decide if larger studies are needed.
