First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 36 times
Summary
This study tested a device called ivWatch® on 2,400 cancer patients getting chemotherapy through a vein. The device watches for fluid leaking out of the vein, which can damage skin and tissue. The goal was to see if it could spot leaks earlier than a nurse could. If successful, it could help prevent painful injuries during treatment.
