First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding the drug ivonescimab to standard chemotherapy (SOX) can better shrink or eliminate tumors in people with locally advanced stomach or gastroesophageal junction cancer. About 154 participants will receive either the combination or chemotherapy alone before and after surgery. The main goal is to see if the combination leads to a complete disappearance of cancer cells in the removed tumor tissue.
