New drug combo targets lung cancer brain tumors in early trial

Summary
This study tests the safety of a new drug called ivonescimab when given with standard chemotherapy and precise radiation (SRS) to people with non-small cell lung cancer that has spread to the brain. About 53 adults will join to find the best dose with the fewest side effects, and then see if it helps control the brain tumors. The goal is to manage the disease, not to cure it.
