New hope for hard-to-treat nose and throat cancer: four experimental combos tested

Summary
This study tests four different drug combinations in 208 adults with advanced nasopharyngeal cancer that has stopped responding to standard treatments, including PD-1 inhibitors. The goal is to see which combination best shrinks tumors and controls the disease. Participants will receive one of four regimens: ivonescimab alone, ivonescimab plus nimotuzumab, liposomal mitoxantrone plus an anti-PD-1 antibody, or liposomal irinotecan plus S-1.
