Could a simple immune treatment stop recurrent miscarriages after IVF?
NCT ID NCT04701034
First seen Nov 24, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested whether a combination of two immune-suppressing drugs (IVIg and prednisolone) could help women who have had multiple miscarriages after IVF have a healthy baby. 80 women were randomly assigned to receive either the active drugs or a placebo during early pregnancy. The goal was to see if the treatment increased the chance of a live birth, but the results are not yet widely reported.
