Summary
This study tested whether a combination of two immune-modulating drugs (intravenous immunoglobulin and prednisolone) could help women who have experienced multiple unexplained miscarriages after fertility treatments like IVF. Eighty women were randomly assigned to receive either the active drug combination or a placebo during early pregnancy. The goal was to see if calming the immune system could improve the chances of a successful pregnancy and live birth.
