First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests if ivabradine, a drug that slows heart rate without weakening the heart, can improve blood flow in people with sepsis. Sepsis is a life-threatening infection that often causes a dangerously fast heartbeat. The trial will compare ivabradine to a placebo in 172 ICU patients to see if it helps control heart rate and blood pressure.
