Could an iron boost stop the bleeding? new study investigates

NCT ID NCT07083583

Summary

This study is checking if giving intravenous (IV) iron to people who have both an inherited bleeding disorder and low iron levels can help reduce their bleeding symptoms and improve their energy. Researchers will observe 40 patients, measuring their bleeding severity, nosebleeds, menstrual bleeding (in women), and fatigue before and 3 months after they receive standard IV iron treatment. The goal is to see if fixing the iron deficiency helps manage the bleeding disorder better.
