NCT ID NCT07488078
First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving less IV fluid after gallbladder removal is as good as giving more for keeping the body stable. About 380 adults having planned laparoscopic gallbladder surgery will be randomly assigned to receive either liberal or restrictive IV fluids for 6 hours after the operation. Researchers will track vital signs and recovery to see if the restrictive approach works just as well.
