Summary
This study aims to find out if a special IV catheter with a built-in guidewire works better than a standard one. Researchers will enroll 360 adult hospital patients who need an IV and randomly assign them to receive one of the two catheter types. They will then track how long each IV lasts and how often problems like infection or clotting occur.
