Can a simple scan predict a Baby's first days?
NCT ID NCT07193381
Summary
This study aimed to see if a specific type of ultrasound scan, focusing on a fetal blood vessel called the ductus venosus, could help predict how well a newborn baby will do. Researchers followed 81 pregnant women whose babies were growing slower than expected. They performed these scans regularly in the third trimester and then checked the babies' health after birth to look for a connection.
