Blood flow test may spot At-Risk babies before birth
NCT ID NCT07193381
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looked at 81 pregnant women whose babies were growing slowly (a condition called IUGR). Researchers used a special ultrasound to measure blood flow in a tiny vessel near the baby's heart. They wanted to see if these measurements could predict which babies would have health problems after birth, like needing intensive care. The study did not test any treatment—it only observed and collected data.
