First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests whether a personalized oral hygiene training method (iTOP) is better than standard instruction for improving gum health in 60 adults with braces and gingivitis. Participants will receive one-on-one training or standard video/model demonstrations, and their plaque and gum health will be measured after three months. The goal is to find the most effective way to help people with braces keep their gums healthy.
