Summary
This early-phase study tested a drug called itacitinib in 19 adults with advanced liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) that had worsened after initial treatment. The goal was to see if itacitinib is safe and can shrink tumors or slow cancer growth. The drug works by blocking a protein (JAK1) that may help cancer spread.
