First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looks at how two common anesthetics, isoflurane and sevoflurane, affect oxidative stress (a type of cell damage) in 80 adults having gallbladder removal surgery. Researchers will measure stress markers in the blood to see which anesthetic may be gentler on the body. The goal is to gather knowledge to help guide safer anesthesia choices.
