First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests a new type of stent made from iron that slowly dissolves in the body after opening a narrowed part of the main artery from the heart (coarctation of the aorta). The goal is to see if it safely keeps the artery open without causing new blockages. Ten people aged 1 to 60 with this condition will be enrolled at a single center.
