First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study looked at 40 pregnant women with anemia to compare two intravenous iron treatments: ferric carboxymaltose and iron sucrose. The goal was to see which one raised hemoglobin levels more. Both treatments are already known to work, but local data was lacking. The main measure was the increase in hemoglobin after treatment.
