First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looked at whether iron supplements can improve symptoms of ADHD and restless legs syndrome (RLS) in children aged 10 to 15. Twelve children with both conditions took iron for 3 months. Researchers checked brain iron levels with MRI and tracked symptom changes using parent reports and leg movement monitors. The goal was to see if raising iron levels helps ease these symptoms.
