First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated Jun 22, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tested a digital tool called iREACH that helps pediatricians follow national guidelines for introducing peanuts to infants. What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
iREACH Clinical Decision Support tool (educational module and EHR prompts)
What this could lead to
If successful, this tool could help doctors consistently follow peanut allergy prevention guidelines, potentially reducing the number of infants who develop peanut allergies.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage study focused on doctor behavior, not a direct test of a new treatment. The actual reduction in peanut allergy incidence is a secondary outcome and may not be significant.
Conditions
The condition(s) this trial relates to.
As listed by the trial registrant
The condition terms exactly as the trial's registrant entered them.
