Lab-Made ovarian cells could boost egg maturation in IVF research
NCT ID NCT07559357
First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding lab-grown ovarian support cells (made from stem cells) helps immature eggs mature in a dish. About 100 women undergoing IVF will donate extra eggs for research. The eggs will be split into two groups: one with the support cells and one without. The main goal is to see if more eggs reach maturity with the support cells. All resulting embryos are used only for research and will not be transferred.
