NCT ID NCT02890329

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This early-stage study tests a combination of two drugs—ipilimumab, which boosts the immune system to attack cancer, and decitabine, a chemotherapy drug—in people whose myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) or acute myeloid leukemia (AML) has returned or not responded to prior treatment. The main goal is to find the safest dose and check for side effects. About 54 adults with these hard-to-treat blood cancers will take part.
