One-Stop care: hepatitis c treatment at opioid clinics shows promise

NCT ID NCT03155906

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tested whether treating hepatitis C at the same clinic where people get medication for opioid addiction works better than sending them to a separate infectious disease clinic. About 298 people with both hepatitis C and opioid dependence took part. The goal was to see if more people would complete treatment and be cured of hepatitis C when care was offered in one place.
