First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether treating hepatitis C virus (HCV) inside clinics that already provide opioid addiction therapy works better than sending patients to separate infectious disease clinics. About 298 people on opioid therapy took part. The goal was to see if integrated care leads to more people clearing the virus and sticking with treatment.
