Summary
This study tests two different nose sprays—dexmedetomidine and ketamine—to see which one works better to calm children (ages 2-6) before they have surgery. Sixty kids will be randomly given one of the two sprays, and researchers will measure how sleepy and relaxed they become. The goal is to find a safer, easier way to reduce anxiety and help children separate from their parents without distress.
