Ear injection could restore hearing after sudden deafness

Summary
This study tests a new way to deliver steroids directly into the inner ear for people with sudden, severe hearing loss. About 108 adults and teens who haven't improved with standard treatment will receive the injection through the eardrum. The goal is to see if this approach can safely improve hearing better than current treatments.
