NCT ID NCT04804891

First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests whether giving intestinal transplant patients stem cells from their organ donor can safely reduce the need for lifelong anti-rejection drugs. The goal is to lower the high risk of infections and cancers caused by these medications. Six participants will receive donor bone marrow cells and be monitored for side effects like graft-versus-host disease.
