First seen May 21, 2026 · Last updated Jun 07, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tested a training program called Stay S.A.F.E. to help new graduate nurses manage interruptions when giving medicine. Fifty-six nurses in their first year of practice took part in a simulated medication task. Researchers measured how well they handled interruptions and how long it took them to return to the task. The goal was to see if the training could reduce errors and improve focus.
