Summary
This study tested a type of talk therapy called Interpersonal Relationship Psychotherapy in 42 breast cancer patients who were at risk for depression. The goal was to see if the therapy could lower depression scores, improve how patients manage emotions, and increase their sense of social support. The approach involved online sessions using Zoom, and the results showed improvements in all three areas after treatment.
