Summary
This study tested a type of talk therapy called Interpersonal Relationship Psychotherapy for breast cancer patients at risk of depression. 42 patients with stage II or III breast cancer took part. The therapy aimed to lower depression scores and improve emotion regulation and social support. Results showed improvements in mood and coping after treatment.
