Could controlled breathing exercises ease sleepless nights?
NCT ID NCT07394699
Summary
This study is testing whether short, repeated sessions of breathing low-oxygen air can help people with chronic insomnia sleep better. Researchers will enroll 30 adults with primary insomnia to compare this 'intermittent hypoxia' training against a control group. They will measure changes in sleep patterns, fatigue, mood, and body inflammation to see if the approach is safe and effective.
