Prostate cancer patients may get drug holidays without harming survival

Summary
This study tests whether men with metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer can safely take breaks from hormone therapy after an initial treatment period. About 1,600 participants who have already responded well to therapy will be randomly assigned to either continue treatment or pause it until needed again. The goal is to see if intermittent therapy works just as well for survival while reducing side effects and improving quality of life.
