Two-Week intensive therapy trial aims to ease Veterans' PTSD and anxiety

NCT ID NCT05843695

Summary

This study is testing if a short, intensive form of talk therapy (cognitive behavioral therapy) can better help veterans and service members with PTSD and anxiety disorders. Researchers are comparing two delivery methods—individual sessions over two weeks versus group sessions over two days—against standard care. The goal is to see which approach most improves anxiety symptoms and quality of life, especially for those who don't initially respond to treatment.
