First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tested whether a health cloud platform with intelligent nursing support could help bladder cancer patients who have a urostomy (a surgically created opening for urine) improve their self-care skills and reduce anxiety. 42 adults who had bladder removal surgery and use a urostomy bag took part. The approach used a smartphone app to provide education and track progress, aiming to empower patients to manage their condition more actively at home.
