First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding integrative therapies like acupuncture or touch therapy (e.g., reflexology, Shiatsu) to standard cancer care can improve quality of life and reduce symptoms. About 750 adults currently undergoing cancer treatment will receive 8 weekly sessions of their preferred or randomly assigned therapy. Researchers will track changes in symptoms, well-being, and safety using standard questionnaires.
