New therapy tackles anxiety and drinking together in veterans

Summary

This study tests a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) program that treats anxiety, PTSD, and hazardous drinking all at once in veterans. The goal is to improve how participants feel and function in daily life. About 40 veterans with an anxiety disorder and risky alcohol use will take part.
