New catheter could unblock tiny brain vessels in stroke patients

Summary
This study is testing a new catheter (a thin tube) designed to remove blood clots from small and medium-sized brain arteries in people having an acute ischemic stroke. About 57 adults who have had a stroke within the last 24 hours and meet specific brain scan criteria will receive the procedure. The goal is to see if the device can safely restore blood flow and improve outcomes.
