Breathing training in water may boost swim performance

Summary
This study tests whether doing breathing muscle training in the water helps young swimmers more than doing it on land. Thirty competitive swimmers aged 13–18 will be split into three groups and train for four weeks. Researchers will measure lung function, swim times, and stroke efficiency before and after training to see which method works best.
