Can better sleep ease arthritis pain? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT05387473
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a specific type of therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) to standard knee osteoarthritis care helps patients more than standard care alone. It involves 128 adults aged 45+ who have both knee arthritis and chronic insomnia. The main goal is to see if this combined approach leads to better pain relief, improved function, and better sleep after six months.
