NCT ID NCT07585396

First seen May 20, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looked at whether inositol, a natural supplement, can improve ovulation in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) who did not respond to the fertility drug letrozole. 36 women aged 18-35 took part. The researchers compared inositol to metformin, another common treatment, to see which worked better for helping eggs mature and be released.
