Blood-Based gel tested to regrow bone in severe gum disease
NCT ID NCT07146776
Summary
This study is testing a new treatment for severe gum disease that has caused bone loss around teeth. Researchers are comparing a standard cow bone graft to the same graft mixed with an injectable gel made from the patient's own blood (i-PRF). They want to see if the blood gel helps the bone graft work better to regrow bone and improve gum health.
