Inhaled migraine med passes early safety check in healthy volunteers
NCT ID NCT00610727
First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This early-stage study tested a single inhaled dose of prochlorperazine (a drug used for migraines) in 54 healthy adults aged 18 to 45. The goal was to see if it was safe and tolerable, and to measure how the body absorbs and processes the drug. No treatment benefit was measured; this was purely a safety and drug-behavior study.
