Heated patch trial aims to soothe common back pain
NCT ID NCT05137041
Summary
This study tested whether a special infrared therapy patch could help people with recent, mild-to-moderate low back pain. Over 200 participants were randomly assigned to either use the patch or receive no patch treatment for 5 days. Researchers measured changes in pain levels, mobility, and safety to see if the patch provided meaningful relief.
