Heated patch trial aims to soothe aching backs
NCT ID NCT05137041
Summary
This study tested whether a special infrared therapy patch could safely reduce pain and improve movement for people with recent, mild-to-moderate low back pain. Over 200 participants were randomly assigned to use the patch or receive no patch treatment over 5 days. The main goal was to see if the patch helped people feel significantly less pain without needing other pain medications.
