New trial aims to shield blood cancer patients from deadly infections

Summary
This study looks at different ways to prevent serious infections in people with blood cancers like myeloma, lymphoma, and leukemia. About 900 participants will receive either antibiotics or immunoglobulin therapy to see which approach works better at keeping them infection-free. The goal is to find safer and more effective infection control strategies for these vulnerable patients.
