Researchers test new way to monitor tiny Infants' nerves during surgery

NCT ID NCT07133412

Summary

This study aims to understand how infants' nerves and muscles respond during surgery compared to older patients. Researchers will use a special monitoring device on 100 participants—some infants under 3 months and some patients 12 years and older—who are having surgery that does not require muscle-relaxing drugs. The goal is to gather basic information about nerve function in very young children.
