Summary
This study tested whether a new infant formula containing probiotics and a special protein could improve gut health in newborns. Researchers compared 240 babies split into three groups: one group got the new formula, one got a standard formula, and one was breastfed. They tracked how often babies had bowel movements and other health measures over a full year to see if the new formula made a difference.
